Tucked away in the southern Smoky Mountains of Murphy, North Carolina, The Great Escape boasts gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding ridges and a relaxed “mountain life” vibe. Our cabin is located in the friendly Five Forks community and offers three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, two large living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, two southern-facing decks with mountain views, screened-in porch with gas fireplace, and a hot tub.

In 2021, the owners of The Great Escape set out to find their "home away from home," and found it in Five Forks. Having grown up in Jacksonville, Florida, they were well acquainted with the charms of coastal beach life, but the Smokies' mystic, ethereal beauty had always captivated them. The owners fell in love with the home's incredible views and quiet solitude. The Great Escape has proven to be their family's perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the daily urban grind. We are thrilled to be welcoming our new clients to the Beats Working Vacation Rentals family in January 2023 and expanding our presence in the Five Forks community.

The Great Escape can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably, utilizing one king bed and three queen beds. We do not offer sleeper sofas. The interior living space is 2,287 square feet.

Dogs are welcome upon host approval and a small fee.
